Hey Ulis. Yeah, I got my 5 minutes of fame :) I know several LA's were asked to appear, but they declined. When the show aired, several workmates did comment that they had seen me. I must admit that was fun.

Now morse on phones would be a cool gimmick. I know Nokia phones did send "SMS" and "Connecting people", but that were only for receiving an sms and a call. Several years ago, I had a ringtone that would send "CQ DE LA8AJA" when I recieved a call. A friend (OH3NWQ) made that for me.

As for young doing what their parents can't do, that is a sure thing. I just read a list yesterday, that Fox published, about short codes young people use on instant messaging. They sure are creative.

Andreas you're a celeb! I've have had this theory for a while that if phone manufactures could figure out a way for sms on cellphones to be sent and/or received in morse that kids would learn the code. Why? Simple... because their parents don't know morse. Typically anything parents can't do or don't like kids will take to like fish to water. I guarantee it.
