#247 and #248 on LoTW with A31A and TX5SPM

Posted: March 17th, 2010 under DX, Hamradio, LoTW, Soundclips.

lotw-logo-c.jpg I was quite surprised to get two new ones on LoTW so quickly after the last few. A31A uploaded their log and gave me #247 and TX5SPM did that as well and gave me #248. Among other confirmations are TX5SPA and TY5LEO. Thanks for getting on LoTW!

I finally turned on the radio again on Monday March 15th after having it turned off for a month. I managed to work VP5/W5SL on 12M CW (#223 12M) and 17M CW. On Tuesday, ZK3YA was coming in on 30M with a nice signal and I managed to log him for #262 on 30M. On Wednesday I worked 3B9WR on 12M CW. It was not a new one, but he uses LoTW according to qrz.com. E21EJC was cqing on 17M CW and came back for #263 on 17M. That was our fourth band. EX8AB had a nice signal on 30M, and I quickly worked him. He is supposed to be an LoTW user, so I hope to get that one soon. HS0AC were on 12M CW today, but I could not get through. 7P8AO was also on 12M, but no go there either. I'm happy that the higher bands are opening up, but still a long way till 6M opens.
