JW8AJA update

Hi all. I'm back from Svalbard. I have uploaded the log to LoTW and I've updated the logsearch here. I worked a little over 1100 contacts this time. This wasn't an expedition only trip, but I did manage to put in a few hours of operating.

Early on Wednesday July 27th, I checked the radio before work. I worked FP/K9OT on 40M CW. He had a nice and strong signal and was easily worked. A few minutes later, I worked IM0P in EU-165 for a new IOTA. On Friday July 29th, I had some time before work. I got VK9HR on [...]

Saturday July 23rd, I had some time to play radio. I knew there were a few IOTA's on in Alaska that had never been activated before, so I was looking for them. K6VVA/KL7 NA-242 was on 30M CW early in the day. He was fluttery and not too strong. I heard an SM station working [...]

#290 on LoTW with 8R1K

This was yet another one I didn't expect that got uploaded today. The qsoes with 8R1K was worked back in 1997 and I do have a paperqsl for those qsoes. I see I have only 5 qsoes with 8R total, so it's even more fun to get it confirmed via LoTW. That brings my LoTW [...]
