This stuff is not valid anymore, but I'm listing it as a reference. Most of the transmitters have shut down and have gone digital.
The original info can be found on LA7DFA.com
There are several ch E2 (48.25MHz) TV transmitters in Norway. Many areas has TX restrictions for radioamateurs. In these areas it is not legal to transmit on 50MHz while NRK is transmitting their signals. In the areas with primary coverage of the CH E2 TV channel, the amateurs has special responsibillity to make sure their transmissions does not disturb the TV receivers even when all rules and regulations are met.
- It's illegal to transmit from aeroplanes.
- It is legal to make 'split-frequency' contacts on 52-54MHz while transmitting 50-52MHz.
