Posted: February 25th, 2009 under Contesting, DX, Hamradio, LoTW, RTTY, Soundclips.

j5.jpg I Worked 2 new ones on RTTY. On Friday, I got J5UAP on 40M RTTY and on Saturday I got K5D on 30M RTTY. That brings my RTTY total to 179. J5UAP was also new on 40M (#229). I worked about 50 QSO’es in the ARRL contest this weekend, which gave me 2 new states on 40M. I worked Alabama and Nevada, total now is #37. On Monday I got ET3JA on 30M (#240) CW. He had a solid signal here and was easily worked. Conditions were good south-west and VQ9RD  was worked on 40M with a solid signal. VQ9JC Jim, was worked on 30M for a second band. 3B8CF was also heard CQ’ing on 30M, but I have worked him before.

Soundclips:

  • ET3JA 30M CW – #240 on 30M, strong signal, qsl to OK3AA according to qrz.com
  • VQ9RD 40M CW – LoTW user, strong signal
  • VQ9JC 30M CW – Jim, via ND9M, strong signal, second band

Log is updated on LoTW. I got one new with ER0FEO, that makes 214.
