#330 worked with ZL8X

Posted: November 29th, 2010 under DX, Dxpedition, Hamradio, Soundclips.

Well, time flies and little radio. Finally ZL8X got on for an all-time new one. ZL8 is Kermadec Island and to read more about the expedition, go to their excellent website.  I didn't bother to call them the first weekend. I knew the pile-ups would be huge and it would probably just be a waste […]

#267 on LoTW with FJ/SM5FUG

Posted: November 18th, 2010 under DX, Hamradio, LoTW.

I'm happy that I worked FJ/SM5FUG. He uploaded the log to LoTW and gave me #267 on LoTW. That's 5 new ones in about a month. I haven't worked anything since that qso. Right now I'm waiting for ZL8 to get on the air. ZL8 will be an all-time new one for me.

#265 on LoTW with CY9CWI

Posted: November 6th, 2010 under DX, Hamradio, LoTW, Soundclips.

To my surprise I noticed that the CY9CWI expedition from 1999 had uploaded the log to LoTW. I've only worked a few CY9's, and my last qso was in 1999, so I must say thay I'm very happy with that one. I also passed #100 LoTW on 12M and 8 to go on 10M. Soundclips: […]

#264 on LoTW with DV1JM

Posted: November 2nd, 2010 under Contesting, DX, Hamradio, Iota, LoTW.

DV1JM uploaded his log and gave me #264 on LoTW. I'm also trying to collect 10M and 12M LoTW DXCC, and I'm pretty close. On 12M I just need one more and on 10M I need 10 more. On Friday I worked OX/DL2SWW on 17M CW for a new iota. They were qrv from NA-151. […]
